Looking for inspiration for your next holiday? Instagram is the perfect social media platform to explore stunning imagery from amazing destinations around the world.
To make it easy, we’ve listed the best Australian travel bloggers to follow, and asked them do describe their style of blogging and name the most picture perfect destination they’ve ever travelled to.
Style of photos: I have always been against putting myself/my face in many shots and aim to take almost all of my shots facing away from the camera so that the reader/viewer can see the destination through my eyes.
Most picture perfect destination: Morocco as a whole was very photogenic with so much colour and vibrancy. However, my all-time favourite view is Patagonia in Chile.
Style of photos: Documentary style, adventure seeking, sunrise to sunset chasing, dreamer.
Most picture perfect destination: Oh that’s easy and my favourite country – NEPAL.
Style of photos: I like to think my style of photography and blogging reflects my personality: bright, happy and real.
Most picture perfect destination I would have to say either the Kimberley-region in Western Australia, or New Zealand – I just love the diverse landscape.

We arrived here on sunset and chilled out for a while as the light slowly left the earth. Before it was even dark, the aurora became visible in the sky, mingled with the final glow of dusk. As darkness came the unmistakable green and purple glow stretched across the expanse of heaven, shifting and morphing second by second. It's hard to fathom really, something that really needs to be experienced first hand.
Style of photos: The majority of my photography is based around the golden hours of sunrise and sunset. I try to get away from the more popular tourist vantages points and wander off the beaten track.
Most picture perfect destination: The landscapes in Iceland are unlike anything else with towering waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes, black sand-beaches, mountains, ice covered beaches and the northern lights.
Style of photos: Mister Weekender is all about adventure and nature travel, so I share travel guides, tips to take better photos and what to pack. Expect lots of mountains, waterfalls and coastlines!
Most picture perfect destination: Without a doubt Iceland. The sweeping landscapes, ancient glacial lagoons, moss-covered lava fields, huge waterfalls and black sand-beaches make it an adventurer’s dream destination!
Style of photos: I try to keep my photos minimalist, with strong elements between both the ocean and the alps.
Most picture perfect destination: I have a HUGE soft spot for New Zealand. A short three hour-flight from Sydney can have you skiing, surfing, swimming in an aqua blue lake or even next to an active volcano!
Style of photos: I hope to come across as more of a traveller than a tourist. I want to experience the people, landscape and the culture of a place in an authentic way.
Most picture perfect destination: For me, it’s between Iceland and Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia. Both offer a great variety of landscapes, close encounters with wildlife and quickly changing weather. Both places humble you in the best possible way.

The one and only Mount Rugby reflected by Forest Lagoon in @Tasmania's Southwest. Standing at a moderate 744m above sea level, the hike to the summit is one of the many walks available whilst staying at the Southwest Wilderness Camp. Definitely on my to-do list next time! Yesterday we made it back from an amazing two nights spent in the region and hit the road North travelling via the @greateasterndrive. Can't wait to share what we are up to today! #DiscoverTasmania @paraviontas #ParAvionTas
Style of photos: My images are more landscape-oriented than typical travel images. I love to capture dramatic scenes with amazing light, and hope to evoke some sort of emotions within the viewer.
Most picture perfect destination: Tasmania, the landscape is so diverse! You can literally point your camera at anything and take a nice photo. I’ve visited Tasmania four times now and know that it is one place that I will continue to visit for as long as I can hold a camera.

As we climbed up the almost vertical scree in the pitch black early morning, it was 2 steps up, 1 slide down, 2 steps up, 1 slide down. I couldn't see anything around me except the inky night. I could only hear a few murmurs from other climbers. The sound of anticipation. Then about an hour later we reached the top of the ridge. The sky started to lighten. This is what we rewarded with. A way #latergram, shot on film in the Torres Del Paine National Park in Patagonian Chile #AnnetteinSouthAmerica #passionpassport
Style of photos: Eclectic. From minimal architecture, dreamy landscapes, portraits of locals to even underwater photography. I guess what I’m subconsciously aiming for is an other-worldliness about the things I capture.
Most picture perfect destination: I’d have to say South America. You can’t miss the pristine mountains and glaciers of Patagonia, the salt lakes of Uyuni and Lake Titicaca in Bolivia, the Inca trail to Machu Picchu in Peru and the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. Not to mention Carnival in Rio! It’s the adventure of a lifetime. Don’t hesitate, just do it.
Style of photos: My focus is on incredible, yet easily accessible, places and experiences – if I can get there and have this experience, so can you. I focus on Tasmania, with regular content from all corners of Australia’s smallest state.
Most picture perfect destination: I fall more in love with the diverse landscapes found in Tasmania every day. From snow-capped mountains and pristine uncrowded beaches to forests so dense and lushly green you’ll be searching for hobbits and fairies behind every waterfall. Add in a burgeoning gourmet food and wine (and whiskey and cider!) scene and cultural events to rival international cities, and you’ll sense a positivity here that you need to come and feel for yourself.
Style of photos: I like to think of my photography as candid, colourful and a little whimsical. I try to create images that draw people in and take them away to another place.
Most picture perfect destination: I have just done a road trip around the South Island of New Zealand and it takes the cake for drop-dead gorgeous views around every single bend. There is so much diversity in the landscapes, from rugged, snow-capped mountains and turquoise lakes to infinite rolling hills and white sandy beaches.
