In fact, it’s one of the best Scottish II routes anywhere in Scotland. Under snow and ice it is a grade II winter route and reputedly the best of its grade on the mountain. The scrambling is never too difficult and the harder bits can be avoided if you want to but it takes you through some fantastic ground and you are surrounded by Ben Nevis' rare plants and geology.
